Akdüven (Kurd. Faraç ) is a village in the Mazgirt district in the Turkish province of Tunceli . Akdüven is about 30 km east of Mazgirt. Akdüven belongs u. a. next to Beşoluk to Bucak Darıkent .

The Kurdish name is the original place name. It means "joy". Faraç is also used in official language and has been registered in the land register since 1957.

Akdüven was given up in the 1990s because of the clashes with the PKK. In October 1992 , fighters of the Kurdistan Workers' Party killed 11 or 12 people in an attack in the Mezra Dedebağ . Akdüven had 356 inhabitants again in 2000 and 125 inhabitants in 2009. As part of a return program ( Köye Dönüş Rehabilitasyon Programı ) funds were made available and housing was built.

Akdüven does not have a primary school. There is a Jandarma guard near the village . In the recent past there has been sporadic fighting between guerrilla forces and troops of the Jandarma and the army.
