Aslanyurdu (Kurd. Lawzan ) is a village in the Mazgirt district of the Turkish province of Tunceli . Aslanyurdu is located directly on the road between Tunceli and Mazgirt, about 20 km north of the Keban dam . The place is also often spelled Arslanyurdu. The village used to be partially populated by Armenians . In 2011, 231 people lived in Aslanyurdu.

The village was originally called Lavzan, later Onbaşı and finally Aslanyurdu ("home of the lions").
