Alain IX. de Rohan

Alain IX. de Rohan (* approx. 1382; † 1462 ) was from 1429 Viscount de Rohan et de Léon , Comte de Porhoët , Baron de Pontchâteau , Seigneur de Noyon-sur-Andelle , Pont-Saint-Pierre , Radepont and La Garnache . He was the son of Alain VIII. De Rohan ( House of Rohan ).

Alain IX. is known as the builder in Josselin , where he added a residential building to Josselin Castle , the 70 meter long facade of which is a testament to the Flamboyant style and the Breton Renaissance .

In his first marriage he married Marguerite de Montfort († 1428), Dame de Guillac , daughter of Duke Johann V of Bretagne , with whom he had four daughters and a son:
