Alain Lauener (born December 8, 1986 ) is a Swiss track and road cyclist.
Athletic career
Alain Lauener became Swiss track cycling champion in the omnium of the junior class in 2003 . The next year he won the bronze medal in scratch at the European Junior Track Cycling Championships in Valencia . On the road, he was successful in 2006 on part of the Mainfranken tour . The following year he won the opening stage of the Tour du Loir-et-Cher in Blois . In 2007 he decided the Italian one-day race Legnano Coppa Olivetti for himself. In 2010 he became a two-time Swiss elite in the sprint and omnium. In 2014 he ended his cycling career.
