Alassane Ouédraogo (born September 7, 1980 in Boussouma , Upper Volta , today Burkina Faso ) is a former football player from the West African state of Burkina Faso. He moved to Europe as a teenager and spent most of his career in lower-class German clubs. He plays 62 games for his country's national team and has taken part in three Africa Cups with her .

Ouédraogo began playing football as a youth at the capital city club Santos FC Ouagadougou , moved to Europe to the Belgian club Charleroi SC and joined 1. FC Köln in 2000 . While he was regularly used in the second team of FC, he was only considered three times in the professionals. On April 28, 2001 Ouédraogo made his Bundesliga debut in a 4-0 win against Energie Cottbus . In 2003 he moved to Rot-Weiß Oberhausen , where he was mostly a regular player. After Oberhausen's relegation in 2005 from the second division , he moved to TuS Koblenz in the Regionalliga Süd , where he was obliged by coach Milan Sasic, but was rarely used.
At the beginning of January 2010 it was announced that Ouedraogo had signed a contract with regional league team Rot-Weiss Essen until the end of the 2009/10 season. He had previously completed a trial training session there. But when Essen's license was revoked, his contract was terminated. Ouedraogo then moved to the NRW League for SC Fortuna Köln , with whom he rose to the Regionalliga West. For the 2012/13 season he received no new contract in Cologne and was without a new club until October 2012. He finally joined the south-west upper division SpVgg EGC Wirges, with whom he was relegated to the Rhineland League in 2013 . A year later he returned with Wirges as a master in the league. During the 2015/16 winter break, he joined the national division VfB Speldorf , with whom he was promoted to the league in 2017. Here he ended his playing career after the 2017/18 season.
National team
Alassane Ouédraogo played a total of 62 games for the Burkinabe national team from 1997 to 2008 (3 goals). He took part in three Africa Cups with the team . In 1998 they finished fourth in their own country, in 2000 and 2002 Burkina Faso were eliminated in the preliminary round.
Trainer
In 2016 Ouédraogo was co-trainer of the U19 of SG Essen-Schönebeck for six months .
