Albert von Puttkamer

Albert Freiherr von Puttkamer (born August 5, 1797 in Zemlin in the district of Cammin i. Pom. , † 1861 ) was a royal Prussian district administrator and politician.

Life

origin

Albert von Puttkamer was the son of District Administrator Lorenz Friedrich von Puttkamer (1741-1814) and his second wife Eleonore Moldenhauer (1764-1838). His brother Eugen von Puttkamer was the later police president of Berlin as well as regional president in Frankfurt (Oder) and chief president of the province of Posen .

Career

Puttkamer worked as district administrator in the Prussian districts of Czarnikau (1849–1853) and Samter (1853–1860) in the province of Posen. From 1859 to 1861 he was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives .

family

He married Wilhelmine Auguste von Pape on September 2, 1818 in Berlin (April 6, 1792 - April 24, 1834). The couple had several children:

  • Albert August Waldemar (1819–1899) ⚭ April 8, 1867 Ernestine Luise Emilie Fieke called Schönfisch (1843–1916)
  • Sidonie Emilie Johanna (1824–1912) ⚭ April 8, 1856 Eugen von Puttkamer (1800–1874)
  • Albert August Maximilian (1831–1906) ⚭ December 2, 1865 Anna Lucie Karoline Alberta Weise (1847–1923).
