Alberto Francisco María Sanguinetti Montero (born October 10, 1945 in Montevideo , Uruguay ) is Bishop of Canelones .

Life

Alberto Sanguinetti Montero received on 18 May 1973, the sacrament of holy orders and was in the clergy of the Archdiocese of Montevideo incardinated .

On February 23, 2010 Pope Benedict XVI appointed him . to the Bishop of Canelones. The then Archbishop of Montevideo, Nicolás Cotugno Fanizzi SDB , donated him episcopal ordination on March 20 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop Emeritus of Canelones, Orlando Romero Cabrera , the Bishop of Mercedes , Carlos María Collazzi Irazábal SDB, the Apostolic Nuncio in Uruguay, Archbishop Anselmo Guido Pecorari , and the Bishop of Puerto Iguazú , Marcelo Raúl Martorell .
