Albrecht Jebens
Albrecht Jebens (born May 4, 1946 in Hamburg ) is a German geographer and formerly right-wing conservative , more recently right-wing extremist publicist .
Life and work
After graduating from high school in Farmsen , Jebens served in the 18/1969 tank brigade . From 1970 he studied history , geography and political science at the Eberhard Karls University in Tübingen . In 1970 he became a member of the Corps Franconia Tübingen . During his studies he was an assistant at the Tübingen Seminar for Contemporary History and a volunteer at the Lübecker Nachrichten . In 1975 he passed the first state examination. Then he was a research assistant at the Geography Institute in Tübingen. As part of his doctoral thesis , he was in Afghanistan from 1976 to 1978 . In 1983 he received his doctorate magna cum laude as Dr. phil.
From 1982 to 1997 he was managing director of the study center Weikersheim and personal advisor to Hans Filbinger . The Weikersheim conference reports were co-published by him. He became managing director of the East German Cultural Council in Bonn (1998) and of the East and West Prussia Foundation in Oberschleißheim (2000). During this time he was editor of the magazine comrades of the consortium for comrades and traditional associations and published in Criticón . From 2001 to 2004 he was chairman of the Hans Filbinger Foundation . Since 2002 he has been the second chairman of the Prussian Institute. He was a member of the CDU and speaker of the Society for Free Journalism . He sits on the board of the right-wing extremist German Study Association and has been working as a freelance sales representative for the Bertelsmann subsidiary inmediaONE since 2012 .
