Friedhelm Golücke (born October 15, 1941 in Paderborn ) is a German high school teacher and student historian .

Life

Golücke was born the son of a businessman and attended the Reismann-Gymnasium in his hometown . After graduating from high school, he served as a regular soldier in the armored infantry troop (Bundeswehr) . From 1964 he studied philology (history, French) at the Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg . After the intermediate examination, he moved to the Justus Liebig University in Giessen . After working at the Center national d'enseignement à distance in Paris , he returned to Würzburg. In 1971 he passed the state examination for higher teaching post. After a stay at the Military History Research Office in Freiburg , he was a doctoral thesis at Hanns Hubert Hofmann 1974 in Würzburg Dr. phil. PhD. After two years of legal clerkship in Neumünster , he taught for four years at the Klaus Groth School in Neumünster . In 1980 he went to the University of Paderborn as a research assistant . After a leave of absence, he returned to the Schleswig-Holstein school service in 1991. He moved immediately to the teaching profession of North Rhine-Westphalia and came as a teacher at the familiar Reismann Gymnasium Paderborn .

Member of the KDStV Markomannia Würzburg since the beginning of his studies , he dedicated himself to student history . He founded the Association for German Student History (GDS). He has been chairman for many years. In addition to Harald Lönnecker , Matthias Stickler and Raimund Lang , he sits on the GDS Board of Trustees. In 2008 he was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit on ribbon for his services to university and regional history . He is a lieutenant colonel in the reserve.
