Raimund Lang (born May 24, 1951 in Salzburg ) is an Austrian actor , presenter , voice actor and student historian .

Life

After graduating from high school in 1969 and doing military service in 1969/70, he trained as an actor at the Prayner Conservatory in Vienna . From 1973 to 1983 he was employed by Viennese theaters , including the Volkstheater , Ateliertheater and Renaissance theater . Among other things, he played Gottfried in “Armut” by Anton Wildgans , Harold in “Harold and Maude” by Colin Higgins and Allan in “Das Raft der Medusa” by Georg Kaiser .

Since 1984 he has been working as a freelance voice actor in Hamburg , primarily for the North German Broadcasting Corporation .

In 2009 Austria’s Federal President Heinz Fischer awarded him the title of professor as a “mediator of Austrian culture abroad” . Claudia Schmied , Federal Minister for Education, Art and Culture , presented the certificate.

Student historian

As a schoolboy, Lang became a member of the K.ö.St.V. Illyria Hallein in the Middle Schools Cartel Association (MKV). The K.Ö.St.V. Gothia Seckau awarded him the ribbon of honor in 1971. During his time as an actor in Vienna, the MKV connections Austro-Bavaria , Borussia Vienna and Austria Purkersdorf awarded him membership. In 1998 he received the ribbon of honor from the Catholic fraternity Franconia Czernowitz zu Erlangen in the Cartell Association of the Catholic German fraternity . In 2001 he was honored by the KDSt.V. Wiking Hamburg in the same way. At the Schipkapass tavern , Pragensis Prague awarded him the ribbon in October 2008 in the European Cartel Association . Long involved in the traditional association “Catholic Czernowitz Pennäler” , Lang knows the forgotten history of the student associations in Czernowitz . At the MKV Pennälertag 2011 in Hartberg , he was honored with the MKV ribbon of honor for his many years of high service.
