The Albtäler Cycle Path is a 186-kilometer long -distance cycle path in Baden-Württemberg . The circuit leads through eight valleys of the Swabian Alb . The Albtäler Cycle Path is not one of the state long-distance cycle paths in Baden-Württemberg .

Route

The Albtäler Cycle Path leads from the Lonetal into the Danube Valley after a short ascent . The path leaves the Danube valley near Rammingen and then runs back over the Lone valley into the Brenz valley . At Giengen you reach the Brenz loop - called Eselsburger Tal . You reach the Roggental via the Kuppenalb . The route continues via Geislingen into the Eybachtal and Filstal . After Wiesensteig comes the greatest incline of the circuit to reach the highest point of the tour in Westerheim . From there it goes - with moderate intermediate climbs - via Laichingen and Merklingen downhill to the starting point.
