Aldo Del Monte

Aldo Del Monte (born May 31, 1915 in Montù Beccaria , Pavia province , † February 16, 2005 in Massino Visconti ) was an Italian Roman Catholic clergyman and bishop of Novara .

Life

The ordination received Aldo Del Monte on 29 June 1939. Subsequently, he was professor of theology at the seminary in Tortona , military chaplain in Russia and later director of the Ufficio Catechistico Nazionale (National catechetical office of Italy).

On December 29, 1970, he was named Titular Bishop of Musti and Apostolic Administrator of Acqui Terme . The episcopal ordination donated him on January 31, 1971 Carlo Cardinal Confalonieri ; Co-consecrators were the former Bishop of Crema , Archbishop Franco Costa , and the Bishop of Porto e Santa Rufina , Archbishop Andrea Pangrazio . Aldo Del Monte was named Bishop of Novara on January 15, 1972. On December 19, 1990, Pope John Paul II granted his age-related resignation.

Aldo Del Monte was buried in the Church of San Filiberto in Pella .
