Ale Dumbsky

Ale Dumbsky , also known as Ale Sexfeind or Alexander Dumbsky , is a German musician, music manager and co-founder of the Hamburg music label Buback and the band Die Goldenen Zitronen .

biography

The musician, whose stage name Ale Sexfeind pays homage to the British band Alien Sex Fiend , was one of the founding members and drummer of the Hamburg band Die Goldenen Zitronen , which he left after six years in 1990. After that he was a member of the band Motion , to which Schorsch Kamerun and Rocko Schamoni also belonged, and of the Naked Navy project .

In 1987 Dumbsky founded the music label Buback together with his band colleague Ted Gaier from Die Goldenen Zitronen at Buttstrasse 50 in Hamburg-Altona , where they lived in a shared apartment . While Ted Gaier left the following year, Dumbsky expanded the label and ran it until 2004. In that year he left the label and devoted himself exclusively to the music publisher Sempex . After Dumbsky, the painter Daniel Richter became the new owner of the music label Buback in 2005 .
