Alexander DiPersia
Alexander John DiPersia (born March 6, 1982 in New York City , New York ) is an American actor .
life and career
Alexander DiPersia was born in New York City in 1982 and grew up in Southport , Connecticut . His mother Ronna was an artist, his father John was a lawyer. His grandfather made a name for himself in the real estate industry. After graduating from high school in New Haven , he went to Boston to study at Boston College , where he graduated with a master's degree in philosophy. Some time later he moved to Los Angeles , where he tried to gain a foothold in the actress without any training. In the early stages of his acting career, he also worked as an insurance agent.
His first acting role came with a brief appearance in the 2007 film I Am Legend, starring Will Smith . A year later followed a mini-role in Big Fat Important Movie . He then made guest appearances on a number of series including Melrose Place , CSI: Miami , 90210 , Single Ladies , Navy CIS: New Orleans and Gotham . In 2013 he was seen as Marco in the television film Forever Young .
After appearing in a few short films, in which he worked with Diego Luna and Gael García Bernal, among others , he appeared in the 2016 series Good Girls Revolt in the role of Noah Benowitz . The horror film Lights Out was also released in 2016 , in which DiPersia played a central role as Bret . In 2019 he starred as Andre Taglioni in a supporting role in the Netflix series Pose .
In addition to acting, DiPersia is an active member of the New York art scene, both as a collector and a curator for luxury apartment furnishings.
