Oreschkin lost to his Russian compatriot Boris Koltsov in the qualifier for a World Cup ticket , so that he qualified for the 2017 World Cup. The following years Oreschkin always took part in the World Cup of Darts with Koltsov . In 2017 they beat Hong Kong 5-3. Then Oreschkin was able to defeat Kyle Anderson 4-2, the two also won the following double and were in the quarter-finals, where they failed clearly against Belgium. In 2018 he and his usual partner Boris Koltsov won the WDF World Cup in doubles.

Oreschkin won the Russian qualifier 2017 and secured a World Cup ticket for 2018 , where he failed with 0: 2 against the German Kevin Münch in the preliminary round. In 2019 he left the PDC after failing to qualify for the world championship.
