Alexis Amore (born December 29, 1978 in Lima ; real name Fabiola Melgar García ) is a Peruvian porn actress , porn director and erotic model .

Life

At the age of nine, Fabiola García moved with her parents from Peru to Redondo Beach , California . During high school , a Catholic school in Hermoso Beach , she began modeling at the age of 15, among other things she was in a campaign for the American fashion chain Nordstrom and later took part in the dance show The Grind on MTV . At that time, she had already had her breasts enlarged. She first worked as a nurse in a Catholic hospital before she got the offer to work as a presenter for the pay-TV channel Playboy TV after a photo spread in Playboy and an unsuccessful casting on HBO . There García met people from the porn industry on the show Playboy's Nightcalls and starred in her first hardcore film The Watcher 6 in 1999 , which was produced by Vivid Video . Since then she has appeared in over 270 films as Alexis Amore.

Starting in 2001, Alexis Amore took a year off and performed as a stripper before returning to the industry in early 2003, citing Nina Hartley as her sponsor . In February 2003 she signed an exclusive contract with Jill Kelly Productions . Here she shot straight and homosexual films as well as her first anal scene . In June 2004, Amore signed a contract with Anabolic Video as the first permanent actress . There she was supposed to direct eight to ten films a year and also be actively in front of the camera for six films. Starting in 2004, she wrote her own Simply Alexis column in AVN Insider Magazine , covering topics from feature dancing to Latin American politics. She had previously had a column as a sex guide in the Peruvian magazine Open Your Eyes . In September 2005 she was awarded a contract, also as the company's spokesperson, with Video Team , the market leader in ethnic pornography. The contract ran until September of the following year. In early 2006, Amore launched her own new website via the ClubJenna network, replacing her previous one from 2002. In 2012 she renewed her website, now as part of the XxxFastPass Network . In September of that year, she was the first porn actress to be seen on the cover of the car magazine Lowrider . Since 2007 it has also published its own calendar every year. In 2008, Amore announced that after two years she would be shooting scenes with male partners again.

Since 2002, Alexis Amore has been the figurehead of the American erotic company Las Vegas Novelties , which she signed during her time off and launched a product line for sex toys named after her . In October 2005 she switched to California Exotic Novelties , which also brought out such a line in early 2006. In 2002 she made an appearance on the television series NYPD Blue . In 2003 , she hosted the program Recipes of Sex for KSEX , the largest radio station of its kind, for three months . Since October 2014 she has presented That's Amore on Vivid Radio . In February 2004 she was chosen from eight candidates for Miss Hot Body International, an erotic modeling competition. Alexis Amore is particularly popular in South America , where she has been featured on numerous front pages of relevant magazines, for example in Open Your Eyes . In 2003 she was also interviewed for the news of the Spanish-speaking American television network Telemundo , and in 2006 she appeared on the Puerto Rican late night shows No te Duermas and El Poder . In June 2004, a two-hour documentary about Amore was broadcast on Reporte Semanal on the Peruvian network Frecuencia Latina . In May 2010 she took second place behind Nina Mercedez in the online poll for the Latina Adult Performer of the Decade .
