Alexis Dziena
Alexis Gabbriel Dziena (born July 8, 1984 in New York , NY ) is an American film and television actress .
biography
Dziena, who is of Polish, Irish, and Italian descent, grew up in Manhattan and attended the prestigious Saint Ann's School in Brooklyn. At the American Academy of Dramatic Arts , she took a few courses and starred in a few performances. For a short time she also attended New York University .
While still in high school, Dziena took on supporting roles in the films Mimic 3 (2002) and Bringing Rain (2003) as well as in the series Law & Order and its branch Special Victims Unit . Then she was seen in numerous other productions, including a. in She's Too Young (2004) and Havoc (2005). Her international breakthrough came with the role of Lolita in Jim Jarmusch's award-winning film Broken Flowers (2005) with Sharon Stone and Bill Murray . In the same year, the actress was also engaged for the American mystery series Invasion (2005), for which she moved to Los Angeles .
In 2007 she starred in the movie Sex and Breakfast , which received low-key reviews. In 2008 and 2009 she was seen in three films with A Treasure to Fall in Love with , Nick and Norah and Tenderness - On the Killer Trail .
