Alfons Teuber

Alfons Johannes Heinrich Teuber (born May 15, 1903 in Breslau , † July 23, 1971 in Haag near Munich ) was a German writer and actor .

Life

Alfons Teuber was born in Breslau in 1903 and initially worked as a master baker and writer. On September 24, 1928, he married Ottilie Gelse (* 1909), who was born in Breslau. In 1932 he went to Munich and studied acting with Otto Falckenberg . He later played at the Kammerspiele and the State Theater and wrote dramas and comedies.

In the cinema, Teuber has appeared in the films Quax, Der Bruchpilot (1941) and Die Brücke (1959), among others.
