Alfred Waldemar Garmann Larsen (born November 24, 1863 in Oslo ; † September 10, 1950 there ) was a Norwegian sailor .

Alfred Larsen, for the Kongelig Norsk Seilforening sailed and from 1909 to 1913 was its chairman, was in 1912 in Stockholm at the Olympic Games in the 12-meter class Olympic champion . He was a crew member and owner of the Magda IX , which took first place in both races of the regatta and thus won the competition ahead of the only two competitors, the Swedish boat Erna Signe from skipper Nils Persson and the Finnish boat Heatherbell from skipper Ernst Krogius . The crew of the Magda IX also included his son Petter Larsen as well as Nils Bertelsen , Eilert Falch-Lund , Halfdan Hansen , Arnfinn Heje , Magnus Konow , Christian Staib and Carl Thaulow . Johan Anker was the skipper and designer of the yacht . Larsen owned a total of 13 boats of various meters in length, all of which he named Magda .

Larsen was a wine and spirits dealer by profession who was particularly active in the import business. In 1884 he took over the family company founded by his father in 1847, which under his management became one of the national leaders in its branch. In 1912 he received the Knight's Cross of the Order of St. Olav . He was also the holder of the Portuguese Order of Our Lady .
