Alfred Richter (writer)

Alfred Alfred Hermann Andreas Rudolph Richter (pseudonyms: Andreas Igel Richter , Richter Rottenbach ) (born March 21, 1890 in Wehlheiden ; † December 14, 1959 in Reutlingen ) was a German writer .

Life

Richter studied German , art history and music history in Jena , Kiel , Freiburg and Munich . During his studies he became a member of the Teutonia Jena fraternity in 1909 and of the Teutonia fraternity in Kiel in 1910 . From 1914 he was in Salzungen . He took part in the First World War, most recently as a lieutenant . In 1919 he moved to Weimar , in 1920 to Wasungen . In the 1920s he worked as an advertising editor at the Quickborn chocolate factory in Greußen . He later moved to Leipzig and, after the Second World War, to Reutlingen. In his denazification process , he was not placed in any of the main culprits or accused groups.
