Alice Macura (born December 20, 1982 in Vienna ) is an Austrian singer , actress and dancer .

Act

Macura completed her four-year musical training at the Vienna Conservatory in June 2007 . In autumn 2007 she made it into the final round of the TV casting show “ Musical! Die Show ”, a musical competition on Austrian television.

From April 2008 to January 2009 Alice Macura could be seen in the musical " Elisabeth " under the direction of Harry Kupfer as Miss Windisch in the ensemble and Elisabeth as a second cast . Afterwards she also took part in the " Elisabeth " tour in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

From July 22 to August 13, 2011 Alice Macura will play the role of Nehebka in an open-air version of the musical “ Aida ”, staged by Werner Auer on the Staatz rock stage in the Weinviertel in Lower Austria.

From October 2011 to April 2012 Alice Macura was again on tour with " Elisabeth " as Fräulein Windisch in the ensemble and Elisabeth as an understudy in Germany and Switzerland.

Since September 5, 2012, Alice Macura has played the role of Mary Vetsera in the ensemble and Elisabeth has a second cast in the Raimund Theater in Vienna for the 20th stage anniversary of the musical " Elisabeth " . Harry Kupfer is again directing the film .

From November 2015 to January 2016 Macura takes on the role of the genie in Aladdin and the miracle with the lamp . Every year the Varieté Wintergarten plays a program of the event series Cinnamon and Magic in cooperation with the children and youth circus Cabuwazi Springling and the Berlin Fairy Tale Days .

Alice Macura has been involved in German schools since 2017 and addresses current topics (social networks, internet crime, sexting, peer pressure, violence, drugs, alcohol) that pose challenges to young people in everyday life in the form of educational preventive theater. After the performance, there will be roundtables in which the performers will discuss the core messages of the play with the young people and develop them together.

From May to July 2017 Alice Macura will be on stage for the Lev theater studio in the US cult musical Hedwig and the angy inch in the role of Yitzhak together with Andreas Bieber (Hedwig) in Kassel.

From November 2018 to June 2019 Alice Macura is a member of the show ensemble on board the cruise ship MS Artania of the tour operator Phoenix Reisen from Bonn. [outdated]
