Werner Auer
Werner Auer (born December 11, 1965 in Hollabrunn ) is an Austrian artist , singer , actor , director , cabaret artist and presenter .
Life
Werner Auer has been on stage as a singer and musical performer for more than twenty years. While rock music was his field of activity at the beginning, from 1997 he increasingly turned to musicals and big band music. Werner Auer has been the artistic director of the Felsenbühne Staatz since 1999 , where he also works as a musical performer, director and set designer . Since 2013 he has been the artistic director and director of the Children's Musical Summer Lower Austria in Schiltern (municipality of Langenlois) and director of the Lower Austria Musical Academy.
Werner Auer has been chairman of the Lower Austria Theater Festival since 2009 . Auer also works as a vocal soloist for various renowned Austrian orchestras and big bands as well as in his own solo projects.

Awards
On September 26th, 2016 Werner Auer was awarded the Lower Austria Tourism Prize in the "Honorary Prize" category for his contribution to successful cultural tourism in Lower Austria .
On October 17, 2016, he was awarded the Grand Decoration of Honor in Gold for services to the federal state of Lower Austria .
