Alicia Kersten (born July 22, 1998 in Cuxhaven ) is a German soccer player .

Career

Kersten started playing football at SV Rot-Weiss Cuxhaven and switched to Werder Bremen's youth department via the Leher Turnerschaft and JFV Bremerhaven in 2013 . There she first played for the B-Juniors in the Bundesliga North / Northeast and reached the final of the German championship with the team in 2015 , where Turbine Potsdam had to be beaten 1: 3. Since the 2015/16 season she has been a member of the women's team that had recently been promoted to the Bundesliga . She made her Bundesliga debut on September 12, 2015 (3rd matchday) when she came on as a substitute for Stephanie Goddard in the 80th minute in the 0-1 away defeat by FF USV Jena . After she made seven other Bundesliga appearances during the season, she was relegated to the 2. Bundesliga North again at the end of the season with Werder, but in 2017 she was immediately promoted again. In the 2018/19 season, however, she was relegated with the SV Werder Bremen women's team.
