Alida Gundlach

Alida Gundlach (born Alida Fischer in Hildesheim on July 17, 1943 ) is an author and former presenter who appeared on German television .

Life

She was born the daughter of a Dutchman and an Italian and trained as a ballet dancer and as an export saleswoman. In Hanover she ran her own ballet school and founded the show ensemble Alida Dancers . From 1968 she moderated numerous stage shows, in which she was also responsible for the direction and choreography. She also worked as a freelance journalist for several newspapers and magazines.

In 1970 she became a spokesperson and programmer for Radio Luxemburg, and in 1971/72 she presented her first television program for Südwestfunk with the youth magazine drum . From 1975 to 1977 and 1987 to 1988 she presented the current showroom on NDR television . From 1984 to 2002 she hosted the NDR Talk Show 220 times . Her partners in the show included Wolf Schneider , Hubertus Meyer-Burckhardt and Jörg Pilawa . She also designed the television series Alida Gundlach exclusiv (ARD, 1995–98), Alida - Lust am Wohnen and Herrenhäuser in Niedersachsen (N3, from 2002).

In the 1970s she was briefly in a relationship with the band leader Les Humphries . Contrary to the persistent rumor, Alida Gundlach said she was not a background singer for Chris Roberts . She only dubbed the real background singer once in June 1976 in the current showroom in a few scenes of the music presentation of the hit Do you speak English .

Gundlach lived with her second husband on Mallorca for years . She is, prompted by a protracted cancer, ambassador of the German Cancer Society and is committed to animal welfare , children, senior citizens and nature. In 1998 she published her first book Socke und Konsorten .

She lives in Asendorf in the Nordheide (near Hamburg ).
