Aljaksandr Hlawazki

Alyaksandr Hlawazki ( Belarusian Аляксандр Главацкі , Eng. Transcription Aliaksandr Hlavatski, also Russian Александр Главацкий - Alexander Glawazki - Aleksandr Glavatskiy ; * 2. May 1970 in Salihorsk ) is a former Belarusian long jump and triple jumper .

In the long jump he was seventh at the World Athletics Championships in 1993 in Stuttgart. After he was eliminated at the 1995 World Championships in qualification, followed a seventh place at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta and a sixth at the 1997 World Championships in Athens.

After he finished fourth in the triple jump at the European Athletics Championships in Budapest in 1998 , he finally switched to this discipline. At the IAAF World Indoor Championships in 2001 in Lisbon he was eighth, but failed in the same year at the World Championships in Edmonton in the qualification. In 2002 he won bronze at the European Indoor Championships in Vienna and was sixth at the European Championships in Munich .

At the 2003 World Championships in Paris / Saint-Denis, he finished eleventh, at the 2004 Olympic Games he was eliminated from qualification.
