Teresa Wiltz wrote in the Washington Post that it was painful to see a “talented mime” demean himself so much. It is clear that he is doing this for the money.
Film-Dienst wrote that the film was a "conventional buddy comedy with hip-hop rhythms that offered superficial entertainment full of sloppy connection errors" . The "trivialization of violence that far exceeds conventional moral boundaries" is particularly annoying.
Cinema magazine criticized that "the excited chatter, the indiscriminate violence and the stupid behavior of the guys" were so annoying that it was difficult "to hold out to the end" . The conclusion of the editors is: "A lot of blasts and even more stupid talk" .
