All for Love was a post-hardcore band from Buenos Aires , Argentina .
history
All for Love was founded in 2008 in the Argentine capital Buenos Aires by the musicians Jonathan Moreno ( electric guitar , vocals ), Tito Placenti ( electric bass ), Joel Maidana ( drums ), Rodrigo Rabita ( shouts ) and Jean Pierre Moreno ( clean vocals ) . Guido de la Vega and Joel Maidana are no longer active in the band. Ezequiel Benitez is now the drummer, and Damian Blanco has been integrated into the band as the new guitarist.
The band was initially under contract with Avalancha Producciones . The group recorded an EP that contains four tracks. During the production, the musicians had the idea to turn the EP into a complete album with eleven tracks. This is called Dejando el Ayer and should be published on December 14, 2012. Due to a defect in the press machine, work on the sound carrier had to be interrupted for the time being. Instead, the group uploaded and activated individual pieces on their official YouTube channel.
All for Love already played with Valor Interior , Coralies , Mi Ultima Solucion , DENY and En Nuestros Corazones . On December 4, 2012, the group was the opener for We Came as Romans and August Burns Red , who toured South America during this period and performed on that day in Palermo , a district of Buenos Aires .
On June 20, 2013, the group announced via their Facebook profile that they had signed with Pinhead Records and that their album is expected to be released nationwide on July 15, 2013. It finally appeared on this label on July 15, 2013. The album was produced by Nico Ghiglione and recorded in the PGM Studios. The band toured Argentina until the end of 2014 to promote their album.
In January 2015, the band started work on their second studio album. On August 11, 2015, El Final de Tus Palabras, the album's first single, called Como Un Océano , was released on September 20, 2015. Shortly before the album was released, the band released another song, Ayudame a Salir, along with a music video.
On September 30, 2017, the musicians surprisingly announced the breakup of the band. The group will play the last concert on November 25, 2017.
style
All for Love play the classic version of post-hardcore . In all songs shouts (in verses) and clean vocals (mostly in the choruses) alternate. The group also uses breakdowns for this purpose . The lyrics are all in Spanish and mostly deal with social grievances, but also about broken relationships. The music of All for Love is compared with We Came as Romans , Upon This Dawning and Crown the Empire .
