Valor Interior ( Spanish : "Inner Value") is a Christian post-hardcore band from Buenos Aires .

history

Valor Interior was founded in 2005 in the Argentine capital Buenos Aires and consists of the singer Jonatán Alcoha, the bassist Jonatán Penacchi, the drummer Diego Ortiz, and the two guitarists Matías Godoy and Leandro Ortiz. The first major concert took place in April 2006 when the group played together with Primera in front of almost 10,000 people. In 2007 and 2008 the group played on the "Primavera sin Violencia" and the "Adrogué Gospel Rock". On December 16, 2009, the band was the opener for the American band Underoath . In August 2010, Valor Interior played outside Argentina for the first time. The concert took place in Bogotá , Colombia . In 2011 the group performed there again. This time the group played with Sleeping Giant and The Almost from the USA as part of the “New Revelation Festival” in Bogota.

At the beginning of 2009, the group signed a contract with the then newly founded label Inglory Records . The debut album Encendiendo Corazones was released through this label . It was recorded in August 2008 at Inglory Recording Studios and La Nave Studios and was released on April 29, 2009. On February 17, 2012, Valor Interior signed with Avalancha Producciones and released the EP Abriendo Cielos digitally in March 2012. The EP will also be released on CD on May 12, 2012. At the release party, Valor Interior performed together with Coralies and All for Love . Valor Interior already played with nationally known bands such as DENY and Dar Sangre .

On October 6, 2012, Valor Interior played for the first time in neighboring Chile . Together with DENY, the group headlined the Monster Rock Festival in Santiago de Chile . On December 23, 2012, the group offered fans to download their new acoustic album En Memoria de los que se han perdido free of charge. Between April 19 and 21, 2013, the group played three concerts in Colombia. The concerts took place in Bogotá , Medellin and Villavicencio . On December 15, 2013, the band's second album, Prevalecer, was released.

The group has produced two music videos so far. The first music video was created for the song Atado A Tu Amor from the debut album Encendiendo Corazones . It was produced by Esthela Lopez. The directors were Rolando Saavedra and Esthela Lopez. The video was shot in the Mosaico Estudios. The second music video was created for Abriendo Cielos from the EP of the same name. The guest musician is Nazareno Gomez from DENY . Diego and Leandro Ortiz are brothers.
