Alma Beltran

Alma Leonor Beltran (born August 22, 1919 in Sonora , Mexico - † June 9, 2007 in Northridge , California ) was a Mexican actress .

Life

Beltran started her film career in Hollywood in the role of Miss Guatemala in the movie Pan-America (1945). Until 2002 she played over 80 roles in film and television, often in smaller roles, always as a Mexican lady or senorita. These included roles in Bonanza , Railway Detective Matt Clark , Knight Rider and The Boss . On the screen you saw her in The Gallows Must Wait , Inferno by the River , Tracy Meets God , Another Man, Another Woman and finally in The Wedding Trap .

As a member of the group of Mexican artists in Los Angeles, she participated in music festivals such as the Fiesta de la Raza .
