The trunk is upright or prostrate and with individually growing plants up to 1 meter long. It is covered with the remains of dead leaves. The lanceolate, pointed leaves form dense rosettes . Their cloudy green to reddish brown leaf blades are 30 to 40 inches long and 5 to 8 inches wide. There may be white spots on the somewhat lined surface of the leaf. The piercing, reddish brown teeth on the horny leaf margin are 2 to 3 millimeters long and are about 10 millimeters apart.
Inflorescences and flowers
The simple inflorescence is 80 to 120 centimeters long. The dense, narrow, cylindrical, pointed grapes are 35 to 50 centimeters long and 7 centimeters wide. The lanceolate bracts have a length of about 25 millimeters and are 8 millimeters wide. In the bud stage they are arranged in a brick shape. The mostly yellow or greenish yellow flowers are on 15 to 20 millimeter long peduncles . The buds are occasionally reddish. The flowers are 23 to 27 millimeters long and rounded at their base. They are widened towards their mouth. Your outer tepals are not fused together. The stamens and the style protrude 5 to 6 millimeters from the flower.
