Altenlinden is a district of the municipality of Barkhagen in the east of the Ludwigslust-Parchim district in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania .
The Penzliner See and the Daschower See are to the northwest, the Poseriner See and the Damerower See to the north and the Plauer See to the east.
The B 191 runs south and the B 103 east.
An earlier name for Altenlinden is Hof Malchow .
history
On July 1, 1950, Altenlinden was incorporated into the municipality of Barkow . On June 13, 2004, the two communities Barkow and Plauerhagen merged to form today's Barkhagen community.
