The Old Bothfelder cemetery in Hannover is a landmarked cemetery of the parish of the Evangelical Church of St. Nicolai et Antonii 19th century. The 0.98 hectare facility is located on Ebelingstrasse in what is now Hanover's Bothfeld district .

History and description

As a successor to the churchyard that was laid out in the Middle Ages directly at the Church of St. Nicolai et Antonii, a new cemetery a little further away was laid out in autumn 1847 at the time of the Kingdom of Hanover , today's Old Bothfelder Friedhof on Ebelingstrasse, which in turn is directly on returns the church.

On the south side of today's Ebelingstraße on which parcel 11 in the former Feldmark the district Klein-Buchholz , bought in the wake of the about 3.5 acre large cemetery grounds all farmsteads with series points -Nummern in parish Bothfeld their imaginary for their farm family graves .

Among other things, Pastor vom Berge and his wife, August Heinrich Hoffmann von Fallersleben's in -laws , are buried here.
