Altisheim is a parish village and part of the market Kaisheim in the district of Donau-Ries in the administrative district of Swabia ( Bavaria ). For district includes also the deserts Lehenweid , Quellgut and Riedelbergerhof .

Altisheim is one of the border towns of the Alemannic dialect area to Bavarian .

Altisheim was an independent municipality in the Donauwörth district and was added to the Donau-Ries district on July 1, 1972 as part of the regional reform in Bavaria and incorporated into the Kaisheim market.

The Catholic parish Sankt Willibald belongs to the parish community Kaisheim in the deanery Donauwörth in the diocese of Augsburg . The parish also includes Lehenhäusel, Lehenhof , Lehenweid, Quellgut and the Riedelbergerhof (Rennelbergerhof) as well as the Sankt Blasius branch in Leitheim .
