action
The CIA and the Mafia are jointly planning a secret operation. James Hatcher embezzled the $ 10 million earmarked for this. He is hunted down and gone into hiding while the CIA and the Mafiosi argue over who is responsible for the company's failure.
Hatcher's sick mother hires the unemployed British accountant Lewis Kinney, who ended up in the USA. He is supposed to protect her adopted daughter Lise. As a result, Kinney gets caught between the fronts. The various skills he has learned in his job at various companies are useful in car chases and shootings, and he masters any situation with British humor .
The showdown takes place on the Highpoint , the CN Tower in Toronto , which is the tallest free-standing structure in the world. James Hatcher, responsible for the death of some people, falls to his death after a brief battle with Kinney. The money is secured. The US secret service boss Banner gets the millions back, and the mafia boss Maronzella receives his ten percent, as agreed. Kinney and Lise are in love and they kiss.
