The Amance or Mance is a river in France that runs in the Grand Est and Bourgogne-Franche-Comté regions. In French, the two names, together with the usual article, do not differ in the pronunciation, but only in the spelling: “l'Amance” versus “la Mance”. It rises under the name Ruisseau de Pramelin in the municipality of Celsoy , changes the name again to Ruisseau des Joncs and generally drains in an easterly direction. After a total of 46 kilometers, it flows into the Saône in the municipal area of Jussey as a right tributary . The Amance crosses the Haute-Marne and Haute-Saône departments on its way .
