Ambrose Rebello
Ambrose Rebello (born February 17, 1949 in Nirmal , India ) is a Roman Catholic clergyman and bishop of Aurangabad .
Life
Ambrose Rebello was ordained a priest for the diocese of Aurangabad on April 22, 1979 .
Since 2011 he has been Vicar General of the Aurangabad Diocese.
Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Aurangabad on May 13, 2015 . The Apostolic Nuncio in India, Archbishop Salvatore Pennacchio , donated him episcopal ordination on August 28 of the same year. Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Bombay , Cardinal Oswald Gracias , and the Archbishop of Nagpur , Abraham Viruthakulangara .
