Ambyr C. Childers (born July 18, 1988 in Cottonwood , Arizona ) is an American actress .

Life

Ambyr Childers was born in Cottonwood and grew up in Murrieta in the US state of California on. Childers had one of her first television appearances in 2003 in Dickie Roberts: Child Star and in Carolina - In Search of Mr. Perfect . From 2006 to 2008 she was Colby Chandler in the soap opera All My Children . For this role she gave up her fellowship at the University of California . In 2011 she starred in a total of four films, including Set Up and All Things Fall Apart . She also appeared in films such as Lady Vegas and The Master in 2012 , and in 2013 in the films Gangster Squad , Broken City and We Are What We Are . In the first two seasons of the Showtime series Ray Donovan , she had a supporting role at the side of Liev Schreiber . Since 2015 she has played the role of Susan Atkins , a member of the Manson Family, alongside David Duchovny in Aquarius .

Childers was married to the film producer Randall Emmett and has two daughters with him.
