American Football League All-Time Team

The American Football League (AFL) All-Time Team is a fictional team that includes the best players in the league.

The team was elected on January 14, 1970. That year the American Football League and the National Football League merged into one league - the National Football League . The AFL All-Time Team was elected by the members of the Pro Football Hall of Fame election committee who were affiliated with the AFL. The chosen players must have played in a team of the AFL. The election increased a player's prestige, but it was not tied to induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
