The National Football League 2000s All-Decade Team (NFL 2000s All-Decade Team) is a list of the best American football players of the NFL seasons 2000 bis 2009 . Eligible are players or coaches who were active during this time.

choice

The All-Decade Team is elected by the Pro Football Hall of Fame Election Committee. Each city that has an NFL club sends a representative from a local press. There is also a member of the Pro Football Writers Association and 11 media representatives from major national media. The committee consists of a total of 44 people. Since New York , the New York Jets and the New York Giants, have two clubs based in New Jersey , a media representative from New Jersey is also eligible to vote.

The All-Decade Team consists of two coaches and 53 players. The choices are: two quarterbacks , four running backs , one full back , four wide receivers , two tight ends , four offensive tackles , four guards , two centers , four defensive ends , four defensive tackles , six linebackers , four cornerbacks , four safetys , two kickers , two punters , two kickoff returner and two punt returner .

The inclusion in the All-Decade Team increases the reputation of a player. The choice is not associated with a (money) price. The selected players were announced prior to the 2010 Pro Bowl on January 31, 2010.
