Tajuan "Ty" Law (* 10. February 1974 in Aliquippa , Pennsylvania ) is a former American American football poker players on the position of the cornerbacks . He played ten years for the New England Patriots and five years for three other teams in the National Football League (NFL). Law won the Super Bowl three times with the Patriots ( XXXVI , XXXVIII , XXXIX ).

Career

Law attended the University of Michigan and was unanimously voted Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the Big Ten Conference twice in three years .

He was selected in the 1995 NFL Draft as the 23rd player by the New England Patriots , with whom he played for the first ten years of his career. In the 1998 season he scored nine interceptions and was elected to the Pro Bowl for the first time . He was the first Patriots player to lead the league in interceptions. He was able to win the first Super Bowl ( XXXVI ) after the 2001 season, in 2003 ( XXXVIII ) and 2004 ( XXXIX ), in which he was unable to participate due to an injury, followed by two more. He was reelected to the Pro Bowl after the 2001, 2002, 2003, and 2005 seasons.

On February 25, 2005, Law signed a contract with the New York Jets and was able to achieve ten interceptions the following season - most in one season of his career. Because the Jets were over their salary cap in 2006 , they let Law join the Kansas City Chiefs . In 2008 he was switched back to the jets.

Law signed on November 6, 2009 with the Denver Broncos . After the season he ended his career.
