Jonathan Philip Ogden (* 31 July 1974 in Washington, DC ) is a former American American football poker players on the position of offensive tackles . He played twelve years for the Baltimore Ravens in the National Football League (NFL) and won Super Bowl XXXV with the Ravens . Ogden was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2013 .

youth

Jonathan Ogden was born on July 31, 1974, to an investment banker and a lawyer . He attended St. Albans School , where he played American football and was successful in the shot put and discus throwing .

college

Ogden selected the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) for his time in college football . In his second season he won the Pac-10 championship with the Bruins and came with them to the Rose Bowl , where they were defeated by the University of Wisconsin 16:21.

After the 1995 season, he won the Outland Trophy and the Morris Trophy .

NFL

After moving from Cleveland (as the original Cleveland Browns ) to Baltimore , the Baltimore Ravens selected Jonathan Ogden as the fourth player of the draft in their first NFL draft under a new name.

Ogden already denied in his rookie season review every game as a starter from the beginning. While he was still used as a left guard this season , he played as a left tackle from his sophomore season in the NFL. Starting in his second season, he was elected to the Pro Bowl after each season .

With the Ravens, Odgen won the Super Bowl after the 2000 season . They defeated the New York Giants 34-7 in Super Bowl XXXV .

Honors

Jonathan Ogden has been elected to the Pro Bowl eleven times and All-Pro nine times . He is a member of the NFL 2000s All-Decade Team and was inducted into the Baltimore Ravens Ring of Honor by the Ravens four months after retiring . He is a member of the College Football Hall of Fame and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2013 .

Private

Ogden married Kema Hunt in 2004. In 1996 he founded the Jonathan Ogden Foundation , a foundation that cares for youth in disadvantaged communities.
