Baltimore Ravens Ring of Honor
At the Baltimore Ravens Ring of Honor , the Baltimore Ravens from the National Football League (NFL) honor players, coaches and officials who have made a special contribution to the franchise.
history
The Ring of Honor was launched in 2001. The recorded people will be honored on a ribbon inside the M&T Bank Stadium , the home of the Ravens. There is no limit to the number of people that can be accepted per year. The electoral body is made up of Ravens officials. There is no regular election. The Ring of Honor has a special feature. In 2002, numerous Baltimore Colts players were included in the lap of honor. These individuals are all members of the Pro Football Hall of Fame .
The Ravens traded as Cleveland Browns until 1995 and were renamed after moving to Baltimore . However, the Ravens do not continue the tradition of the Browns. These resumed gaming operations in 1999 as a new team under the old name, see Cleveland Browns . Cleveland Browns personalities who worked exclusively for this team will therefore not be accepted into the Ring of Honor.
