The Thomas & Mack Center is a multi-purpose hall in the US city ​​of Las Vegas in the state of Nevada . The hall is owned by the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and stands on the campus of the University . It is named after business partners E. The first event took place before the inauguration on November 21, 1983. The UNLV Runnin 'Rebels basketball team competed against the Victoria Vikes of the University of Victoria . The multi-purpose hall offers a maximum of 19,522 seats for boxing and wrestling matches and from the playing field to the hall ceiling it is around 31.7 meters. The Las Vegas Gladiators of the Arena Football League (AFL) remained for four seasons (2003-2006 ). The Las Vegas Flash from Roller Hockey International (RHI, 1994), the Las Vegas Dustdevils from the Continental Indoor Soccer League (CISL, 1995) and the Las Vegas Sting (AFL, 1995) were located in the Thomas & Mack Center for only one year each . From the 2015 season, the Las Vegas Outlaws will play their AFL games in the hall.

In the mid-1980s, the hall served the Utah Jazz NBA team as an alternative venue for some games. 1984 broke Kareem Abdul-Jabbar in the hall the former NBA overall points record of Wilt Chamberlain .
