Amir Shapourzadeh ( Persian امیر شاپورزاده; *  September 19, 1982 in Tehran ) is a former German-Iranian football player and now - functional .

Career

societies

Shapourzadeh grew up in Hamburg and played for the local clubs Grün-Weiss Eimsbüttel , Niendorfer TSV , Eimsbütteler TV and Hamburger SV until 2004 . During the winter break of the 2003/04 season he moved to the amateurs of Hansa Rostock , where he played a major role in winning the Oberliga championship and the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania Cup . For the 2005/06 season Shapourzadeh got a professional contract and rose to the Bundesliga with Rostock's first team the following year. In 2007/08 he was unable to assert himself there permanently, so that his contract in Rostock was not extended after his immediate relegation. For the 2008/09 season Shapourzadeh moved to the second division promoted FSV Frankfurt , where he received a contract until 2010.

The contract was terminated prematurely and he moved to Azin Steel Tehran in Iran . Due to outstanding salary payments, he returned to Germany in January 2012 and was signed by third division Kickers Offenbach .

For the 2012/13 season he received no new contract in Offenbach and accepted the offer of the regional league team Sportfreunde Lotte . There he quickly developed into a high performer and became team captain, but with Lotte he failed twice in promotion to the third division . In 2014 he moved to the Regionalliga Bayern for the Würzburger Kickers . On May 31, 2015, as part of the team, he made it to the third division in the second leg of the relegation against 1. FC Saarbrücken . Due to an assault he committed on September 5, 2015 (7th matchday) in the game against FC Rot-Weiß Erfurt , Shapourzadeh was sentenced to five championship games in the 3rd division.

National team

His debut for the Iranian national soccer team was Shapourzadeh on June 16, 2007 against Iraq in the context of the West Asian Cup 2007 , in which he was used except for the final in all games of the tournament winner Iran.

management

At the beginning of January 2017, Shapourzadeh ended his active professional career and took over the role of manager at the Austrian Bundesliga club FC Admira Wacker Mödling . The employment ended in May 2020.

Remarks

A.Since both Eisenhüttenstädter FC Stahl 2004 and SV Yeşilyurt Berlin 2007 withdrew their respective teams from the game, all games with the participation of these clubs in the relevant seasons were taken out of the evaluation, including Shapourzadeh's appearances for Rostock II against Eisenhüttenstadt and Yeşilyurt.
