The medical service of the health department is active in the fulfillment of sovereign tasks on behalf of authorities , courts , public institutions and comparable facilities. In addition to the expert assessment service as an essential area of work, the medical officer service is usually assigned the subject area of medical supervision / medical statistics and the supervision of corpses and funeral services. This area is also responsible for checking applicants for a permit as a non-medical practitioner .

- Certificate of extension of child benefit receipt for the employment office
Medical supervision / medical statistics
Those who are self-employed in a profession in the health sector are obliged to report the commencement and termination of the profession to the responsible health department. The state-regulated professions in the health sector, which are not organized in chambers , are monitored in order to protect the population from people who practice these professions without permission. As part of the medical supervision, people are checked who carry out professional or commercial activities that serve to identify, cure or alleviate illnesses , ailments or physical injuries in humans. Mortality statistics
The health department registers and archives all incoming death certificates , issues related information and forwards the information to the cancer registry for statistical analysis .
Mortuary and funeral services
