Aigen District

The district of Aigen was an administrative unit in the Mühlviertel in Upper Austria .

The administrative district was subordinate to the district authority for the Mühlkreis, which was located in Linz , and took care of their official business on site. Its seat was in Schlägl . In addition to Aigen, responsibility extended to the former municipalities of Berdetschlag , Julbach , Klaffer , Schindlau , Schlägl, Schwarzenberg and Ulrichsberg and at that time included a market and 53 villages.
