Pregarten district

The Pregarten district was an administrative unit in the Mühlviertel in Upper Austria .

The administrative district was subordinate to the district authority for the Mühlkreis, which was located in Linz , and took care of their official business on site. In addition to Pregarten, responsibility extended to the former municipalities of Aich , Brawinkl , Erdmannsdorf , Gutau , Hagenberg , Hinterberg , Hundsdorf , Lanzendorf , Mistelberg , Selker , Tragwein , Untergaisbach , Unterweitersdorf , Wartberg and Zell . At that time it comprised a city, 4 markets and 76 villages.
