District of Ottensheim

The Ottensheim district was an administrative unit in the Mühlviertel in Upper Austria .

The administrative district was subordinate to the district authority for the Mühlkreis, which was located in Linz , and took care of their official business on site. In addition to Ottensheim, responsibility extended to the former communities of Bergheim , Eidenberg , Feldkirchen , Feldstorf , Freudenstein , Geng , Goldwörth , St. Gotthard , Grammastetten , Herzogsdorf , Lacken , Landshag , Mühldorf , Mühllacken , Stammering and Walding . At that time it comprised two markets and 86 villages.
