The Engelszell district was an administrative unit in the Innkreis in Upper Austria .

The district was subordinate to the district authority in Ried im Innkreis and took care of their official business on site. In addition to Engelhartszell , the area of ​​responsibility extended to the former communities of St. Aegydi , Esternberg , Kорfing , St. Roman , Vichtenstein and Waldkirchen and at that time included two markets and 142 villages.
