District Pottenstein

The District Pottenstein was around the mid-19th century an administrative unit in the area under the Vienna Woods in Lower Austria .

The district was subordinate to the district authority in Wiener Neustadt and carried out their official business on site. In addition to Pottenstein, responsibility extended to the former communities of Altenmarkt , Berndorf , St. Corona , Enzesfeld , Fahrafeld , Furth , Grillenberg , Hernstein-Aigen , Kleinfeld , Leobersdorf , Klein-Mariazell , Neuhaus , Nöstach , Schwarzensee , Thenneberg , St. Veit and Weissenbach .
